DeeperSoul Session 09 - Mixed by Carlos Vargas

.
Vargas father is a jazz guitarist, so he grew up getting in touch with that kind of music. With big references from Stevie Wonder's style, he is a keen admirer of names like Pat Metheny, Lee Ritenour, Jamiroquai, Earth, Wind & Fire, George Benson, Joe Sample and Chacka Khan, among others. Vargas himself always had contact with musical instruments, knowing basics about piano, guitar and bass. With a very good rhythmic sense and a particularly taste for deep and funky house, he always plays a very melodic and balanced music.
Carlos Vargas has dj residencies in 3 bars (Forte, Perfumaria and Rolls – Figueira da Foz) but he also plays regularly in many other places from north to south of Portugal as guest dj. Also, he is one of the founders of the deep n'soul project that combines live interaction between musicians and Dj.

Well I just got back from the gym and I am beat. I am currently doing some research on resonator guitars and stumbled across your blog. Which cracks me up really. The internet can certainly land you off base sometimes. Even though DeeperSoul Session 09 - Mixed by Carlos Vargas is not completely related I think it is a cool blog. I have read back through the archives and lots of people make some very good points. Well I have been on-line forever it seems. I need to continue to plug away at resonator guitars. If you have the energy swing by resonator guitars. I try to update my site weekly and maybe you will see something you like. I already snagged your URL and put it in my favorites. If you do not mind I will be back again. Great job!

Hello! This is a great blog. I just got back home from shopping with the wife and the kids and decided to log on and do some web surfing.(needed a break if you know what I mean) I came across your blog and really enjoyed it. Not many people keep their blogs up to date and most of the blogs I do fine are not even relevant to the blog topic. I bookmarked your blog for future reference.
Anyways keep up the great work and if you dont mind I will forward your blog off to a few of my buddies. Thanks a bunch!acoustic electric guitar

I was not sure to expect when I visited your blog. Well I think the information on this blog is great. I have my own blog and I wish I got half as many constructive comments as your blog does. Anyways, I am a teacher at a University and I am always doing research on various topics. This weeks topic relates 100% to your blog. I already bookmarked you for future use. If you want to exchange information I will leave my link at the bottom of this. If you dont mind I will add my 2 cents to this blog topic once in awhile. Although most of the time I just like to read and see what other peoples thoughts are! (hey I am a teacher!)
    Thanks again!ovation guitar.

Enjoyable visit to your blog! Please visit my nephew's Taylor Hollingsworth music site Brash Music Company of Atlanta, GA writes: It's been happening for decades. Some guitar-slinging kid emerges out of the South with a blues rock soul sound that is more born out of the South than out of the kid. The family tree for this has branches that reach from Macon to Memphis, and Taylor Hollingsworth makes sure that the Birmingham thumbtack is on the map. Enjoy a clip from Taylor Hollingsworth's cd Tragic City. Hey, an Aunt can brag can't she?

Please visit Taylor Hollingsworth music site Taylor Hollingsworth who according to Allmusic.com is a vibrant mix of Sticky Fingers-era Rolling Stones and Pleased TO Meet Me Replacements which course through the standout rave-ups. When Hollingsworth gets his rock & roll elements right, he can create impressive, memorable music, and Tragic City holds enough excellent material to suggest that this Birmingham, AL, native has a very promising future. Listen to a clip from his latest cd Tragic City!
