John Beltran’s musical universe clearly transcends any ghetto, that’s why it’s not easy to describe his tracks or songs. Some of his longtime fans may find this a bit reductive but we will say that “Golden Night With You” is a damn good Soulful song! It features seductive vocals by Jeremy Ellis, simple but very effective percussive groove and warm keys. Remixes are courtesy of Ron Trent, who offers a dope Afro-deep and jazzy version with spaced synths, and MKTL (with a more underground approach).
