"Sacred Rhythm's never ending search for the spiritual strands of house music sees label boss Joe Claussell turn his attentions to the music of legendary Ugandan musician Geoffrey Oryema. Renowned for his endeavours to ensure the languages of his youth are kept alive musically, Oryema has worked with the likes of Peter Gabriel and 1 Giant Leap in a celebrated recording career. Claussell chooses to rework "Kel Kweyo", a track from Oryema's breakthrough album from 1993, Beat The Border, offering up two extended versions. The African Outlaw Demo version weaves Oryemo's soothing vocals around an expansive and loosely stacked tribal throb with a delightfully deep analogue line at the core, whilst the Dub version does what all good dub versions do!"
